The commencement speech that J.K. Rowling gave was very different from all the commencement speech that I heard before. She gives you a sense on what to expect in life and how to make it out there in this world. She leaves you thinking about what do you really what people to remember you as. She had a lot of wise and honest words that she used to bring about her point across. I really enjoyed this speech and I think she is an awesome author.
The video on the hip hop violin was very inteseting. I like how he used beats in the background when he is playing the violin. I think this young man is very talented.
After watching the video on free hugs it was sad that everyone was ignoring him. It took one person to come up to him and give him a hug in which everyone else started to give him a hug. Whenever you feel depressed or sad you just need that hug and all your problems will go away. This man had real compassion to just hug complete strangers that he doesn't even know. I really like this video because it makes me want to go out and give everyone a free hug.
This video was very touching and inspirational. To know that she would not be able to run all the way home because she got hurt was very sad. It was really nice what the teammates did for her and how they help her reach her first home run. There are times in our lives where we are face with difficult decisions but you can always count on someone to be there for you no matter what. This girl was so lucky to have friends like that who really cares for him.
After watching the short film, I found it to be funny because everything goes wrong and everyone gets affected by it. This video was well put together and very creative. I like at the end how he open up the spin box and put the little girl's doll back into one piece. There are alot of talented people out here and I must say this young man is very talented.
The video on the eye writer was very interesting. It is so cool how technology is becoming so advance in certain things. Just by using your eyes you can draw out objects and words and put it on a screen. I feel that this invention has good benefits on those who can move there body but can still use their mind to interact with certain things. Each day something new always come out.
The video was very interesting. It shows how the world is becoming more advance in technology and we can do alot of things with our cell phones. Everyone in the world has a cell phone and that it is becoming an easy access for a lot of people. Everyone has been linked to social networking, twitter, tumblir and myspace. All of these things where not available in the past. Now a days, they are making cell phones that are just like home computers will all of different applications. They way technology is going everything is going to be as an easy access for the whole world.
The video of the lost generation was very thoughtful and clever. This is basically talking about our generation and how we are getting lost in things in today's society. What the young lady said in the video was true and that our generation is what makes up our society. We have to be the one to make the change if we want the world to be better.
I really enjoyed this video it was very interesting. The video shows you how a process is done. Making this video must have been a hard process to do. Everything was on point and it all happen at once. The people who created the whole process are very talented. :)
Watching the video, you can see how all the different cultures came together in making this video. It probably took them a long time to make this video but it was worth it. The song really has a meaning to it that you always need someone to lean on whenever you are down are alone. I really enjoy this video because it is truly remarkable and amazing.
I more of an PC person because it is easier to you. I tried using a Mac at school and it was so hard for me to navigate through the programs they have on it. I always like using PCs because they are cheaper and they are durable. I think I am always going to be PC no matter what because it is so convenient.
This video was very funny. I learned a lesson that you should always proofread your homework before submitting it.
It is so sad to see that the children in Haiti apart of the restaveks. It is very hard to see them suffer like that because you can sense that they are suffering. The government really needs to take action and make sure that they stop these parents from sending their kids to be apart of the restaveks. I feel as if this is slavery all over again with these kids working and not getting pay. I think that the government should send the kids to America so they can live a better life and not suffer.
It is so sad to see that many people in America do not have anything to eat. When we do have something we dont appreciate what we have. This video shows how this boy and his family have to save every money they have in order for them to have food for the entire month. It is sad to see that people struggle to find food but yet everyday I see people throw food away. After watching this video it showed me how grateful I am for what I have because I do not know what I would do if I did not have food to eat. I know that one day everything would get better and we just have to take one step at a time.
I think the video on information revolution is very interesting and informative. It shows you how much things you can do on the internet with just one click. The video shows how advance technology is becoming in today's soceity. Everyday we learn new things because of the internet.
